Notes

'Bravo' dianthus (Dianthus 'Bravo') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. The fragrant flowers attract butterflies and bees.

Pairs well with Creeping thyme, Lamb’s ear, and Blue fescue.
