Notes

'Bright Eyes' garden phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Bright Eyes') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Its fragrant soft pink blooms have a red eye and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees from early to late summer. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Standing Ovation little bluestem, Annabelle hydrangea, and Stargazer lily.
