Notes

'Bright Eyes' montbretia (Crocosmia 'Bright Eyes') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms from early to late summer, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The blooms are fragrant.

Pairs well with Red-hot poker, Black-eyed Susan, and Fountain grass.
