Notes

'Emberglow' montbretia (Crocosmia 'Emberglow') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Burnt orange blooms open in early to late summer and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Cut stems last well in a vase.

Pairs well with Ox-eye daisy, Maltese cross, and Queen of Night tulip.
