Notes

'Limpopo' montbretia (Crocosmia 'Limpopo') is a bulb for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms from early to late summer and attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall, so plant it toward the middle of a border.

Pairs well with Foxglove, Stargazer lily, and Black Baccara rose.
