Notes
'Orange Pekoe' montbretia (Crocosmia 'Orange Pekoe') is a bulb for perennial borders, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun. Arching stems carry orange, red, and deep yellow blooms from early to late summer, and again in early to mid autumn. Hummingbirds and butterflies visit the flowers. Rabbits tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Evelyn rose, Buffalo grass, and Maidenhair tree.
