Notes

'Peach Melba' montbretia (Crocosmia 'Peach Melba') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Dark orange blooms open from early to late summer on strong, wiry stems. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees visit the flowers, and the sword-like leaves add spiky texture.

Pairs well with Wide Brim hosta, Red Charm peony, and Ornamental onion.
