Notes

'Brilliantina' glossy abelia (Abelia grandiflora 'Brilliantina') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It has an arching shape and fragrant pink and white blooms in spring, summer, and autumn that attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer. It also tolerates drought and salt.
