Notes

'Bristol Ruby' weigela (Weigela Florida 'Bristol Ruby') is a shrub for borders, hedges, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Snowcap Shasta daisy, Russian sage, Siberian iris, and Globe thistle.
