Notes

'Bronele' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Bronele') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double flowers are a dark raspberry color and have a noted fragrance. They face upward and bloom in early to late spring. Plants grow about 110 cm (43") tall and spread, so give them support.

Pairs well with Hosta, Sedge, and Knapweed.
