Notes
Broom (Genista spachiana) is an evergreen shrub for screens, fragrant plantings, and dry gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. Yellow flowers open in early to mid spring and smell sweet. It grows 60 to 96 inches tall and can spread 60 to 120 inches, so give it plenty of room.
Pairs well with Olive, Italian cypress, and May Night salvia.
