Notes

'Brother Chuck' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Brother Chuck') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, light pink blooms have salmon-pink undertones and measure 6½ inches across. They open in early summer on strong stems that reach 26 to 28 inches tall. Roy G. Klehm bred it.

Pairs well with Compass plant, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Blue sage, and Black Hero tulip.
