Notes

'Buffalo Gal' rose (Rosa 'Buffalo Gal') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The large, simple deep pink blooms are fragrant and appear from early to late summer. Bees visit the flowers, and red hips form in the fall. Jürgen Walter Uhl bred it in 1989.

Pairs well with Little Hottie panicle hydrangea, Many Happy Returns peony, Ernest Markham clematis, and Love-in-a-mist.
