Notes

'Little Hottie' panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Little Hottie') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. White blooms open in early to late summer and bring in bees. The arching shrub grows fast and tolerates salt.

Pairs well with Western sword fern, Big Daddy hosta, and American cranberrybush.
