Notes

'Burgundy Lace' Japanese maple (Acer palmatum 'Burgundy Lace') is a small tree for specimen, accent, and woodland use. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It grows slowly into a broad shape with fall color. Reddish purple flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees and birds. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Incrediball hydrangea, Great blue lobelia, and Casa Blanca lily.
