Notes

'Burma' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Burma') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Burma has large red blooms on good stems that hold the flowers erect. The blooms do not burn in the sun. Eugene H. Lins bred it.

Pairs well with Indian grass, Grape hyacinth, and Phantom panicle hydrangea.
