Notes

'Cabarette' apple (Malus domestica 'Cabarette') is a tree for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Bees visit its spring blooms. The yellow and green apples ripen in late October or early November. Store them for a month or so before eating fresh, when the flesh turns sweet, crisp, and juicy.

Pairs well with Raspberry, Black Parrot tulip, and Polish Spirit clematis.
