Notes
'Cafe Creme' common foxglove (Digitalis lanata 'Cafe Creme') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and bee gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Tall spikes of bronzey brown flowers have white lips and yellow insides with burgundy veins. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It is short-lived and can self seed gently, so new plants may pop up nearby.
Pairs well with Burnet, Bobo hydrangea, and Snowdrop.
