Notes

'California Early' garlic (Allium sativum 'California Early') is a bulb. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows upright at a moderate pace. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Flowers appear in early to late spring and again in early to late summer.

Pairs well with Spiked speedwell, Shrub rose, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
