Notes

'Camille Calot' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Camille Calot') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, full double blooms open rose-pink or deep pink in early to mid spring. They have a pleasant fragrance. Jacques Calot bred it in 1858.

Pairs well with Gooseneck loosestrife, Prairie dropseed, and Sedge.
