Notes

'Candy Stripe' clematis (Clematis 'Candy Stripe') is a vine for cottage gardens, containers, specimen plantings, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. The large lavender flowers have pink bars edged in white, and they open in spring and summer. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Frank Watkinson bred it.

Pairs well with Bobo hydrangea, Green Spice coral bells, and Jeana garden phlox.
