Notes

Canyon live forever (Dudleya cymosa) is a succulent for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Red to yellow flowers sit in flat-topped clusters above a basal rosette of thick, grayish-green leaves. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It is evergreen and drought tolerant, and it may like an occasional drink in summer.

Pairs well with Thrift, Sulphur-flower buckwheat, and Yarrow.
