Notes

'Carina' rose (Rosa 'Carina') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows upright with medium green, leathery leaves and fragrant, medium pink blooms that open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and Alain Meilland bred it in 1963.

Pairs well with Bartzella peony, Fragrant Bouquet hosta, Society garlic, and Mondo grass.
