Notes

'Carnaby' clematis (Clematis 'Carnaby') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to moist soil of most types. Pink flowers with deep pink stripes and red anthers open in spring, summer, and autumn, and bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit them. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Treasures of Tenbury introduced it in 1983.

Pairs well with Incrediball hydrangea, Switchgrass, and Blue wild indigo.
