Notes

'Cathedral' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Cathedral') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The blooms have dark rose-pink outer petals and a compact center of pale pink petaloids. They are slightly fragrant and open at mid season. The plant grows about 30 inches tall and has dark green leaves.

Pairs well with Praying Hands hosta, Queen of Night tulip, and Garlic chives.
