Notes

'Cedar Lane' coral honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens 'Cedar Lane') is a vine for borders, pollinator gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows fast and climbs up to 20 feet tall. Vermillion red flowers with yellow throats open in spring and again in summer, and they draw hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Standing Ovation little bluestem and Fragrant sumac.
