Notes

'Blanche Sandman' coral honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens 'Blanche Sandman') is a vine for pollinator gardens, containers, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Orange-red flowers open in spring, summer, and autumn, and hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees visit them. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows fast and keeps its leaves through winter.

Pairs well with Jeana garden phlox, Big bluestem, and High-bush blueberry.
