Notes

'Centennial' common hop (Humulus lupulus 'Centennial') is a vine for privacy screens, hedges, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy soil. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It climbs fast and can reach 15 to 20 feet tall. The green flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies.

Pairs well with Clematis, Big bluestem, Bottlebrush buckeye, and Swamp milkweed.
