Notes
'Nugget' common hop (Humulus lupulus 'Nugget') is a vine for privacy screens, accents, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy or chalky soil. The fragrant vine climbs fast and attracts butterflies. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Give it a sturdy support to climb.
Pairs well with Etoile Violette clematis, Purple Sensation ornamental onion, and Lucifer montbretia.
