Notes

'Cezanne' clematis (Clematis 'Cezanne') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Blue flowers have white stripes and yellow anthers, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Mogens Nyegaard Olesen bred it in 2002.

Pairs well with Clarence iris, Black-eyed Susan, and Little bluestem.
