Notes

'Charissima' clematis (Clematis 'Charissima') is a vine for containers, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to moist soil. Large 6-8 inch flowers are light pink with a darker central bar around pinkish red stamens. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It blooms three times each season, in May, June, and September.

Pairs well with Green Spice coral bells, Jane magnolia, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
