Notes

'Charlotte Armstrong' rose (Rosa 'Charlotte Armstrong') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant, deep pink flowers attract bees and bloom from late spring into early autumn. Dr. Walter E. Lammerts bred it, and Armstrong Nursery introduced it in 1940. It prefers cool spring and fall weather.

Pairs well with Munstead lavender, Guacamole hosta, and Niobe clematis.
