Notes

'Charming Maid' rose (Rosa 'Charming Maid') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant orange blooms open in late spring, again in summer, and once more in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Edward Burton Le Grice bred it in 1953.

Pairs well with Niobe clematis, Ornamental onion, Woolly yarrow, and Bridal wreath spiraea.
