Notes

'Chiron the Centaur' peony (Paeonia 'Chiron the Centaur') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Salmon-pink semi-double flowers age to cream, and butterflies and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The upright stems do not need support.

Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Black Parrot tulip.
