Notes

'Choca Mocha' chocolate cosmos (Cosmos atrosanguineus 'Choca Mocha') is an annual for containers, borders, and fragrant flower beds. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil. It grows 8 to 12 inches tall and has dark red, dahlia-like flowers that smell of chocolate. This cultivar is more compact than the usual form and has a stronger chocolate scent. It blooms from early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn.

Pairs well with Tuberose, Society garlic, and Mondo grass.
