Notes

'Chocamocha' chocolate cosmos (Cosmos atrosanguineus 'Chocamocha') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The flowers smell sweet and draw butterflies and hummingbirds. It also tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Stock, and Society garlic.
