Notes

'Clairette' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Clairette') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Pale pink buds open to white flowers with silky petals and a tuft of yellow stamens. The flowers come in clusters on strong, stiff stems. Auguste Dessert bred it.

Pairs well with Rose, Sensitive fern, Black Hero tulip, and Blue sage.
