Notes
'Clementine' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Clementine') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers have a Japanese type form. That form has a tidy center of petal-like parts surrounded by wide outer petals.
Pairs well with Fragrant Bouquet hosta, David garden phlox, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
