Notes

'Cleopatra’s Kiss' peony (Paeonia 'Cleopatra’s Kiss') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Joshua Scholten bred it, and its fragrant, semi-double yellow flowers show a hint of pink when they open. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Annabelle hydrangea, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Maltese cross.
