Notes

'Clown' aloalo (Hibiscus 'Clown') is a perennial for rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to wet soil. Pink blooms with fuchsia veins and a red eye open in mid to late summer and continue into early autumn. It grows 36 to 48 inches tall and 24 to 36 inches wide, so give it room.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Gladiolus, and Lemon thyme.
