'Cody' hosta (Hosta 'Cody') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. It grows 6 to 24 inches tall and bears fragrant, dark lavender blooms from early to late summer. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers.
