Notes

'Color Guard' Adam's needle (Yucca filamentosa 'Color Guard') is a succulent for borders, accents, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It is evergreen, drought tolerant, and salt tolerant, so it gives winter interest with little care. Creamy white flowers attract hummingbirds and bees.

Pairs well with Blue sage, Prairie dropseed, and Sundrops.
