Notes

Spineless yucca (Yucca gigantea) is a shrub for borders, containers, and xeriscape gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It is evergreen and drought tolerant, so it needs little care. White flowers attract hummingbirds.

Pairs well with Bird of paradise, Jerusalem sage, and Stella de Oro daylily.
