Notes

'Comco No. 1' 1 dogwood (Cornus Florida 'Comco No. 1') is a tree for specimen planting, accent, shade garden, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Red blooms fade to white in the center from early to late spring, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit them.

Pairs well with Oakleaf hydrangea, Christmas fern, and Sedge.
