Notes
Common water crowfoot (Ranunculus aquatilis) is an aquatic perennial for pollinator gardens and low maintenance water features. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It often grows in dense patches with submerged stems that bear both submerged and floating leaves. Waxy white flowers open just above the surface of the water and attract bees.
Pairs well with Reed grass, Aromatic aster, and Ruby Spice sweet pepperbush.
