Notes

Meadow buttercup (Ranunculus acris) is a perennial for pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its yellow flowers open from early to late spring. Bees visit the blooms, and the erect green stems fit well in a sunny meadow-style planting.

Pairs well with Red trillium, Curly Fries hosta, and Autumn Brilliance juneberry.
