Notes

Fig buttercup (Ranunculus ficaria) is a perennial for ground cover, naturalized areas, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms with yellow flowers from early to late spring, and bees visit them. It creeps and grows at a rapid rate, so give it room to spread.

Pairs well with Big bluestem, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Common milkweed.
