Notes

'Compressore' peony (Paeonia 'Compressore') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant pink flowers are semi-double and face upward, with frilled guard petals. Plants reach about 35 inches tall and stand upright without support. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Blanket flower.
