Notes

'Conquistador' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Conquistador') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Light pink double flowers with lavender highlights open in late spring. The large blooms smell sweet and sit on 40 inch stems. R.H. Jones bred it.

Pairs well with Monkshood, Sedge, and Rose.
