Constance clematis

Notes

'Constance' clematis (Clematis 'Constance') is a climbing vine that grows 96 to 120 inches tall. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). Give it full sun. Ruby-red flowers open on the vine in late spring. Kathleen Goodman bred it, and its parent is Ruby. Give the stems a trellis, fence, or other tall support to climb, because this vine grows tall.

Pairs well with Campfire rose, Amazing Grace tulip, and Gro-Low fragrant sumac.
